Seed Selection
We can get almost any seed that you specify. Typical residential lawns in eastern North Carolina are Bermuda or Centipede. We can seed other warm season grasses as specified by the customer.
If you have specific Bermuda strains that you desire, we can get these also.
We can also seed areas other than turf or erosion, these can be flower fields to hunting feed plots.

Mulch Options

Fertilizers
We can use whatever fertilizer you specify, for new residential lawns we typically use a water soluble fertilizer. On commercial jobs we typically use granular fertilizer (10-20-20) at 400 to 850 lbs per acre.
JumpStart 5
Jump start turf establishment with a complete package of growth stimulants and added polymers. Its five active ingredients work synergistically to promote faster, more complete germination and long-term plant health. JumpStart 5 contains super-absorbent co-polymer gel, Polyacrylamide (PAM), seaweed extract, humic acid and endomycorrhizae. Biostimulants and mycorrhizal fungi increase root mass and top growth. It improves the established plant’s stress tolerance to heat, cold, salt and drought and the added polymers improve the water holding capacity, water infiltration and shooting distance of the mulch slurry. Water Sorb is dissolved in water then spray-applied to the surface to be seeded. It will penetrate into the soil. Within a few hours, it will cause the soil particles to bind together and form a stabilized layer on top of the soil. As a result, all wetted particles such s seeds, soil conditioners, and fertilizer become bound to the surface. The stabilized layer of the soil remains absolutely water permeable and the soil biology is not impaired.
By keeping the soil in place, by protecting against wind water and water erosion, and keeping fertilizer in place and available to the plant, PAM creates an ideal environment for seed germination.
